Sammy & Friends Training
Welcome to Sammy & Friends online training of our "Classroom Coaching" approach supporting your sustainable implementation of trauma-informed, psychologically safe, and developmentally appropriate emergency drills in K-12 schools! Over 3 hours and 15 minutes, we support you in building a foundational knowledge of trauma-informed practices (TIPs), school emergency protocols, how to apply TIPs to emergency drills in K-12 schools, the recommended timeline for implementing Sammy & Friends Classroom Coaching approach and involving the whole school community, and how to carry out Classroom Coaching. Please note the fee for training rental is per person and each rental will receive a PDF of the training manual, a Sammy the Sasquatch stuffed animal, the illustrated children's book "Sammy the Sasquatch: Welcome to Critteroptia," and the children's activity book "Sammy the Sasquatch: Adventures in Safety." Make sure to follow the directions in your receipt email to receive all of your supplies!
