Welcome to the final session! In this video, we will review the 15 steps of the Sammy & Friends Classroom Coaching approach, followed by a demonstration where Claire Marie pretends Pam is a classroom of five-year-old students. It might seem a little ridiculous, but it’s the best way to give you a sense of what Classroom Coaching looks like outside of a classroom setting.

Now, how Claire Marie interacts with Pam might not be exactly how you would, and that’s ok. What is important is that you practice and figure out what your engagement style looks like and how you would cover the 15 steps, helping you to keep things trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and psychologically safe! Practice saying the words out loud and play pretend, just like kids.
